The School of Business hopes to transform the lives of students through the highest quality business programs focused on the application of Christian values. There are three core principles embedded throughout the School of Business: (1) We integrate our faith with our discipline, thus producing graduates who consider the impact of Scripture on decision making; (2) Critical thinking is infused in the curriculum and students must support responses with logic, theory, and experience; and (3) Experiential learning is a hallmark of our academic pedagogy. In lower-level classes, this is accomplished with guest speakers or brief case applications. In upper-level courses, students experience hands-on projects, competing in a virtual industry, and solving comprehensive cases requiring extensive research with results presented in a classroom setting.

Look Inside

Take a quick look at life in the School of Business; our faculty, facilities, and students make for a dynamic and close-knit learning community.

What businesses are Saying...

We have been honored to partner with the Lee University School of Business for several years in our continued talent search for the best and brightest graduates from local universities. As much as we look for students with excellent academic achievement, we also look for passion and drive which is something we see within our Lee University hires.  Many of our Lee University campus recruits have taken full advantage of the opportunities offered at HHM to become managers and even partners at our firm.  These Lee graduates help HHM uphold its stellar reputation of providing professional services while displaying good stewardship within the communities we serve.  HHM looks forward to many more years of enjoying a successful partnership with Lee.

Makaylah Everett Ariazi

Marketing Coordinator – HHM CPAs

MorningPointe Senior Living has benefited tremendously from working with the Lee University students.  The quality of the students’ work, punctuality and job knowledge speaks volumes about the professors and their program.  Well done, Lee!

Doru Mihaescu

Vice President of Information Technology – Independent Healthcare Properties & MorningPointe

The School of Business at Lee prepared and equipped me to be able to add value to a corporation right out of their program. I would highly recommend Lee’s School of Business program since you will be challenged, and it is close to Chattanooga where many internship opportunities exist. You will be able to connect what’s being taught in the classroom with what’s happening in the business world. All the while, you are in an environment where Jesus Christ is exalted.

Jonathan McCaleb

Technology Risk Consultant – EY

After graduating from Lee University in December 2021, I was nervous but excited about beginning my career. After interviewing at several different companies, I found my home as a Campus Recruiter for Total Quality Logistics. I was able to transfer skills to my current position that I learned at Lee, such as organization, communication, and relationship building.  These skills made the transition into the work force so easy. Through this position, I am able to help give others an opportunity to start out in the work force on the right foot. Lee prepared me for Christ centered excellence in college and beyond.

Elijah Patty

Elijah Patty, a business administration major from Cleveland, Tennessee, is a member of Tau Kappa Omega, a student worker in the School of Business, and a student ambassador on the Admissions team, which he loves because he gets to “share my passion for Lee and hear cool stories from incoming students around the world.” Along with being on the Dean’s list, Elijah is a member of LEAP (Learn Engage Achieve Program) and a B.L. Hicks Scholar but is most thankful for a deeper insight as to who God is in his life. “The faith integration into the classroom has helped me understand how to carry out my future career in a Christ-like manner.” After graduation, Elijah plans to pursue his MBA at Lee.
