Weiyi Cai Yu, a music instructor at Lee University, recently had two students, Darby Lauren Jones and Bethany Thorton, named Concertmasters of youth orchestras in their local areas.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, students from Lee University’s Mission of the Church, a Religion course taught by Professor Jerome Boone, participated in a class service project to benefit The Caring Place (TCP) located in Cleveland, Tenn.

Voices of Lee will present its Sounds of Christmas concert, featuring both sacred and secular a capella Christmas selections, on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m.

Governor Bill Haslam will speak at Lee University’s winter commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 10:30 a.m. in the Conn Center.

On Wednesday evening, Nov. 28, the wind ensemble will present its annual fall concert in the Conn Center at 7:30.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, more than 850 Lee University students, staff and faculty gathered to pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child (OCC)
