With over 47,000 members worldwide, the 1918 Society is open to all Lee University graduates, inviting them to engage in this vibrant community and take advantage of the many benefits and resources available.
Alumni Advisory Board
Established in November 2013, the Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) plays a crucial role in supporting the Office of Alumni Relations by helping to foster meaningful partnerships with Lee University alumni and friends. The board serves as a guiding force in the development of the university’s alumni network, offering valuable insights, direction, and leadership to ensure that the alumni community remains engaged, active, and connected.
The primary purpose of the AAB is to provide strategic guidance in enhancing the alumni experience, cultivating long-lasting relationships, and advancing the goals of Lee University. Board members serve as ambassadors for the university, helping to bridge connections between alumni and the institution while supporting the efforts of the Annual Alumni Fund.
In addition to their advisory role, board members are also entrusted with the responsibility of expanding and administering the Young Alumni Professional Development Grant program. This initiative supports recent graduates by providing funding for career development opportunities, such as further education, certifications, or professional networking events. Through their involvement in the program, the board contributes to the continued success and growth of Lee alumni in their professional and personal lives.
The AAB is composed of a diverse group of alumni who bring a wide range of expertise, experience, and perspectives to their work, ensuring that the board’s efforts reflect the values and mission of Lee University. Together, they are committed to creating a thriving and vibrant alumni community that continues to contribute to the success and legacy of the university.”
