Recognizing that interest in human development often goes beyond direct classroom teaching, the Helen DeVos College of Education offers several degrees that address these interests. These degrees concentrate on typical and atypical human development but also include specialty areas such as business, Asian studies, deaf studies, and special education. They are increasingly popular and offer an excellent foundation for entry into many professions and for the pursuit of graduate degrees in related fields.
