Storms Hall

Storms Hall is an apartment-style residence hall located next to the intramural fields. This hall features two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments with an open-concept living room, and kitchen area, and its own heating and air unit. The kitchen comes complete with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and cabinet space. There is an extended countertop in the kitchen with bar stools to serve as an eating area. Residents must provide their own living room furniture and kitchen supplies. The bedrooms are equipped with two extra-long twin beds, two desks with chairs, two chests of drawers, and a large closet. At the residents’ own expense, a local cable company can be contacted for cable services. Coin/card-operated laundry facilities and lounges are located on the second and third floors, with a community cable television available in the third floor lounge.

Community Outreach

This year the women of Storms Hall and Brinsfield Row will be partnering with Second Life Chattanooga. Second Life Chattanooga creates awareness that drives action through collaborative relationships with like-minded organizations and individuals in order to end human sex trafficking in Greater Chattanooga/Southeast Tennessee. We are honored to support and work with the men and women of Second Life Chattanooga, who commit so much of their time and energy to bringing awareness to the devastation caused by human sex trafficking. It is our hope that with our prayers and our hands and feet of action, we can be a glimmer of encouragement and a resource of practical assistance to this organization and our community.

Meet the Resident Director: Cheryl Craver

As a Resident Director, I get to walk alongside and serve students during these formative years in their lives. I have the opportunity to celebrate and mentor these young women as they discover who they are and what they bring to the table. I hope to help shape a community that challenges and celebrates our differences in a way that is glorifying to God. Through this, I hope students will create unlikely friendships that build bridges both locally and globally.
