Storms Hall is an apartment-style residence hall located next to the intramural fields. This hall features two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments with an open-concept living room, and kitchen area, and its own heating and air unit. The kitchen comes complete with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and cabinet space. There is an extended countertop in the kitchen with bar stools to serve as an eating area. Residents must provide their own living room furniture and kitchen supplies. The bedrooms are equipped with two extra-long twin beds, two desks with chairs, two chests of drawers, and a large closet. At the residents’ own expense, a local cable company can be contacted for cable services. Coin/card-operated laundry facilities and lounges are located on the second and third floors, with a community cable television available in the third floor lounge.
Meet the Resident Director: Yasmin Vasquez
Residential Life and Housing has left an enduring legacy in my life, shaping who I am both personally and spiritually. From serving as a Floor Leader, to a Resident Chaplain, and now as a Resident Director, each role has stretched and refined me in meaningful ways. Through these experiences, I discovered that home is not a place, but a community build through connection, care, and belonging.
As a Resident Director, my goal is to walk alongside students as they navigate this season of life at Lee, celebrating their victories, supporting them through challenges, and encouraging growth academically, emotionally, and spiritually. I pray that students experience a true sense of home within the walls of Storms Hall and Brinsfield Row Female Townhomes. I am truly excited to walk with them and hear their stories.
