Simmons Hall is conveniently located on the Pedestrian Mall next to the Deacon Jones Dining Hall. Residents enjoy close proximity to classroom buildings, the Science and Math Complex, and the DeVos Student Recreation Complex. Each bedroom contains two extra-long twin beds, two chests of drawers, two desks with chairs, two closets, and a sink/vanity. Students have access to a furnished TV lounge and community kitchen on each floor. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and a stove/oven, and cabinet space. Renovated community bathrooms and showers, along with coin/card-operated laundry facilities, are also located on each floor. A unique feature of Simmons Hall is that it is connected by a hallway to Nora Chambers and Tharp Hall.

Meet the Resident Director: Adalyn Hovingh

Residence life had a huge impact on my life during my undergrad years and helped me learn about how to live in and cultivate a healthy community. As an RD, my vision for students is that they would flourish in who God has made them and in their callings to serve the Lord. I pray students feel they belong and know they are valued.

I am excited and humbled to walk alongside students during such a formative time in their lives.
