Medlin Hall is located on the west edge of campus on historic Ocoee Street across from the Science & Math Complex and the main Administration building. Medlin is a great choice for freshman male students who desire great camaraderie and easy access to campus life. Each large bedroom has two extra-long twin beds, two desks with chairs, two chests of drawers, two closets, a sink/vanity, and hard wood floors. Community showers and bathrooms are located on each floor. Residents of this building have access to an impressive visitor’s lobby, coin/card-operated laundry facilities, and TV lounge areas with big screen TVs. In addition, on the bottom floor, residents have access to a large TV lobby complete with a ping-pong and pool table.

Meet the Resident Director: Patrick Nelson

One of my greatest goals in life is to love and lead like Jesus. Being a Resident Director is an amazing opportunity to do just that. I also find pouring into the next generation as a task to take very seriously. I believe that one of the best ways to impact others is by doing life alongside one another. In this role, I have the privilege of mentoring young men by providing them with opportunities to learn, lead, and grow while making a meaningful impact on our world. It is in this that I find great joy, along with watching students connect meaningfully and forge bonds that will last a lifetime. So, to be a part of their journeys is an absolute honor, and it is my sincerest hope that the residents of Medlin Hall feel deeply loved, thoroughly challenged, wholly supported, and truly unified throughout their time here.
