Livingston Hall

Livingston Hall is located on the south end of campus near Keeble Hall and the School of Religion. This hall features two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments with an open-concept living room and kitchen area, and its own heating and air unit. The kitchen comes complete with a full size refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, and cabinet space. There is an extended countertop in the kitchen with bar stools provided. Residents provide their own living room furniture and kitchen supplies. The bedrooms are equipped with two extra-long twin beds, two desks with chairs, two chests of drawers, and a large closet. There is also a hall closet located just inside the entrance to the apartment. At the residents’ own expense, a local cable company can be contacted for cable services. Two coin/card-operated laundry facilities are located on the second floor.

Community Outreach

For the third year in a row, the ladies of Livingston & Livingston East will be serving with The Caring Place. This is a hands on ministry devoted to caring for people who find themselves in crisis through helping meet their basic needs. On their website they quote 1 John 3:18 saying, “let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.” We are so honored to come alongside them this year in this mission!

Meet the Resident Director: Ashley Swartzentruber

I deeply believe that relationships are at the root of who you are and who you become. Because of this, building meaningful and strong relationships is something very valuable to me. Serving as a Resident Director at Lee allows me to grow and live out this belief. It is my hope that my staff and I will be able to positively impact the lives of our residents. We will do our best to create an environment that allows room for growth and development into mature adults. My favorite part of working with students is being able to walk with them through both success and failure. I love being able to play a part in their journey at Lee!
