Meet the Resident Director: McKenzie Parris

During my undergrad at Lee, Residential Life and Housing was the place that I found a home and learned the beauty, challenge, and joy of living in community. My Resident Assistants and Chaplains were an integral part to my success and growth while at Lee, and as a Resident Director I have the chance to imitate their support by loving and advocating for students while they learn how to engage with their community and the world around them. I love walking with students in the big and small moments of their lives and cheering them on every step of the way. Ultimately, my hope is that every student feels that this place can be a home for them and that they are safe to grow here.
