The School of Nursing first began accepting Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students in fall 2014. The Disaster and Healthcare Mission Management (DHMM), non-nursing major began in fall 2018. This was followed by implementation of the first doctoral program at Lee University. The Doctor of Nursing Practice Program began in January 2019. The first track in the DNP program is Family Nurse Practitioner. The School now has a student enrollment of over 400 students.

The Mission of the School of Nursing is to prepare healthcare professionals who view practice through the lens of a caring, Christian worldview and who demonstrate transformational servant leadership that is intentional, bold, infused with Christ-centered confidence, and radically compassionate in caring for others in an increasingly diverse, global, complex and changing world.
