History, Political Science, and Humanities professors are followers of Jesus Christ who have been trained at the world’s best programs and who desire to engage students intellectually, spiritually, and biblically in life’s most important questions. Faculty believe that we must never take our thought lives casually, but we must “take every thought captive to obey Christ” as we continuously learn to “love God with all of our mind” (2 Corinthians 10:5; Luke 10:27). As a result, our faculty focus on the central activities of excellent classroom teaching, personal mentoring of students, and careful scholarship in the fields of government, history, the classics and classical languages, humanities, law, political science, and international studies.
