Cross Hall is centrally located on the Pedestrian Mall, and residents enjoy close proximity to the Deacon Jones Dining Hall, classroom buildings, the Walker Arena, and the Paul Conn Student Union. The three story building offers its residents TV lounge areas, a community kitchen and a coin/card-operated laundry facility. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and a stove/oven. In addition, large prayer rooms are located on the first and third floor of Cross Hall. Four students occupy a two-bedroom suite with a shared bathroom. The bathroom includes a toilet and a combination bathtub-shower. Each bedroom has two extra-long twin beds, two chests of drawers, two desks with chairs, two closets, and a sink/vanity.
Inside Cross Hall
Meet the Resident Director: Gracie Alldredge Pugh
What a joy and privilege it is to return to Residential Life and Housing. My passion for residence life began when I served as a Resident Assistant in college, where I discovered my desire to participate in student development, community cultivation, and cross campus connectivity. I truly believe that life is better connected; on campus this starts on our hallways. College is such a formative season, and I am grateful for the opportunity to walk with students as they navigate college and all that this season has to offer. My hope is to help cultivate an honest and authentic community, within the hall, where students feel known, supported, and encouraged to discover all they were created to be. I am so expectant for all that is in store for Cross Hall this year! “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24/25
