This three-story hall has a community kitchenette available with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and cabinet space. In addition, each floor holds a lobby with couches and cable television. Four students occupy a two-bedroom suite with a shared bathroom. The bathroom contains a double-sink, toilet stall, and standup shower. Every bedroom has two extra-long twin beds, two desks with chairs, two closets, and two chests of drawers. On the second floor of Atkins-Ellis students have access to a study room equipped with several tables and couches. Brittney Lee

Meet the Resident Director: Britney Lee

My goal for Atkins-Ellis is for it to be a place where girls can find community. My hope for my residents is that they know that they are loved, cared for, and seen. I want my residents to feel a sense of belonging within the walls of Atkins-Ellis. My favorite part of working with students is having the opportunity to foster this kind of environment and being able to walk with these girls as they are growing spiritually, emotionally, academically, etc..

Our theme this year is based on a verse in Habakkuk 3, where Habakkuk is saying that he has heard of what the Lord has done in other places and in the lives of others, and he is asking God to repeat the works that God has done before in his life and in his home. This is my prayer for our building: that the Lord will repeat His marvelous works in the lives of my residents, in our building, and on Lee's campus.
