Hi there! I’m Dana Thomas and I am the Admissions Counselor for Hamilton County. This region is special to me since I am from the Chattanooga area myself!

From a young age, I knew that Lee was the school for me and my time at Lee has been my favorite season of life. I had the privilege of being involved with Res Life as a Resident Assistant, I spent years working with the School of Theology and Ministry as a Supplemental Instructor for New Testament and was involved in a few service clubs during my time here. In May of 2025, I graduated with a degree in Healthcare Administration.

I can’t wait to walk alongside your journey of getting you here at Lee; this is such a formative and special time for you! I know the Lord has incredible plans for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to talk or ask questions!
Thanks!

Hello! My name is Braxton, and I am the Admissions Counselor for East Tennessee. I’m originally from Cleveland, Tennessee, but I grew up mostly in Lexington, South Carolina, before returning to the area to begin my journey at Lee University in the fall of 2021.

In May of 2025, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During my time at Lee, I had the privilege of forming deep friendships and being mentored by some of the most impactful people. Being able to pour back into campus through each of these roles gave me some of my sweetest memories.

I’ll always be grateful for the experiences that shaped me here. Now, I’m excited to walk alongside you as you begin your own Lee journey. Hey! My name is Christian Edwards, but you can just call me CJ. I am originally from Orange, New Jersey, I graduated from Lee in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Theological Studies.

Lee has been my greatest blessing. I had the opportunity to travel and sing with the Voices of Lee, our university’s acapella group. I served as the Vice President of the Black Student Union where my leadership skills were refined, and I was a part of Sigma Nu Sigma where I developed my ability to serve and love others well.  My favorite thing about Lee is the opportunity to find genuine community both within students and faculty alike.
