Hello! My name is Ashley Wilson, and I am the Admissions Counselor for Bradley and Polk County.

I graduated from Lee University in December 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Social Work. Growing up in a small town near Cleveland, it was always a dream to attend Lee University. I quickly found community here by having the privilege of being a part of the Lee University Singers and serving as a freshman peer leader for incoming students. During my time in the Lee Singers, I was given the opportunity to travel across the United States as well as cross-culturally. Some highlights from my time at Lee were traveling to Italy in Spring 2015 and South Africa in Spring 2017 with the Lee Singers. These opportunities provided ways for me to grow both spiritually and relationally.

Overall, Lee allowed me to develop and strengthen my faith, create lasting friendships, and be challenged academically. Lee offers a diverse atmosphere with a place for everyone, and it would be my pleasure to assist you during this time of decision and transition to find your own story. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!

Hello! My name is Victoria Clevenger, and I am the Admissions Counselor for the Midwest and Pacific Northwest regions of the United States. This includes Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. I’m excited to help answer any of your questions or concerns about Lee!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising, with a public relations minor, from Lee in May of 2015. While I was a student at Lee, I was a member of the social-service Greek club ‘Sigma Nu Sigma’ and the American Advertising Federation student society. I was also an intern with Southside Creative Group, a local marketing agency, and participated in the National Student Advertising Campaign competitions for two consecutive years. Though Lee’s Cross-Cultural program I was able to travel with other communication students to the beautiful country of Italy and a few of the Greek islands. While studying abroad, we broadened our international marketing spectrum by observing their communication industry and experiencing their culture. While working full time in the Admissions Office, I am also pursuing my Master’s in Business Administration. The faculty and student body at Lee University have served as agents for my abilities and gifts, and in doing so, have promoted my well-being undoubtedly. I’ll forever be grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that Lee University gave me!

Lee University was the perfect fit for me because of the many opportunities for spiritual growth and academic growth. I absolutely loved my time as a Lee student – the professors who challenged me and believed in my abilities, the lifelong friendships I gained, and the beautiful campus nestled in the Tennessee mountains all added to this great experience I had as a student. As a student, I not only grew so much academically, but I also learned more about others, myself, and my relationship with The Lord. I recognize that looking for your perfect fit in a college can be overwhelming and tricky at times, but I hope I can make the process easier. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about Lee University, I am here to help you!

Hey! My name is Logan Byrd, and I am the Admission Counselor for Middle and West Tennessee, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and New Mexico. I would love to be able to answer any questions that you may have about Lee University and specifically the admissions process.

I am originally from Baldwin, NY, but am most recently from Atlanta, GA. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Youth Ministry right here at Lee in 2018. Lee was not in my original plan for college; however, I realized there was a much higher calling for me. During my time at Lee, I was involved with a small portion of what Lee has to offer. I had the opportunity to be involved in CRU and their leadership team along with interning at a local church's youth ministry.

I enjoyed every aspect of my time at Lee University. I have many great memories from my years as a student and made friendships that I know will last forever. Lee is a safe place that allows and encourages healthy growth spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. You will find that professors here at Lee are genuine and caring as they go beyond just being educators and often become mentors and close friends.

I would love to share more about Lee with you! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions or would like to talk through how you can become a Lee student.

Hello! My name is Ali Baker and I am the Admissions Counselor for Hamilton County, Marion County Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas. I was born and raised in the great state of Michigan. I came to Lee knowing absolutely nobody but found a forever home here in Cleveland. I am so excited that you are now considering Lee University for your future home away from home! It is my pleasure to answer any questions you may have and help you through this amazing transition.

I graduated from Lee in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy here. During my time at Lee, I had the opportunity to serve as a mentor in a local elementary school and as a Student Ambassador in the Admissions Office. I was also involved with two of the many service-based Greek clubs that Lee has to offer: Delta Zeta Tau and Tau Kappa Omega. Each avenue I was connected to had one thing in common: amazing community. I found an encouraging community from every area I was involved with on campus. I am forever thankful to now serve at Lee.

From the moment I stepped on campus, Lee has given me a sense of peace. Although college can be a scary transition, I knew Lee and the people here would be a guide through it all. My professors became mentors who challenged me academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Lee has been a pivotal point of growth as a student, but more importantly a follower of Christ. As your Admissions Counselor, it is an honor for me to be a part of your decision process. I hope I can help you, too, find peace in this big, scary transition. Feel free to reach out at any point if you would like to hear more about Lee University. I can’t wait to talk to you!

Hello! My name is Markie Dean, and I am the Admissions Counselor for Georgia. I would love to help answer any questions you may have about Lee and the admissions process!

I graduated from Lee University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and a minor in Digital Media. I was raised in a town west of Atlanta and always wanted to pursue basketball in college. The first time I stepped onto Lee’s campus and watched the women’s basketball team, I knew that this was where I was supposed to be. Lee was the perfect fit for me because of the size and the community. The Lord made a way for me to go to my dream school and play the sport I love.

My time at Lee was one of the best experiences of my life. I had the opportunity to travel, learn, and lead. I was involved in other campus activities such as small groups and working in the special events office. These extra activities allowed me to learn leadership and professionalism. My classes challenged and prepared me for entering the next stage in my life. During my time at Lee, not only did I grow academically, but I also grew more spiritually. Lee surrounds students with professors and peers who want to help you learn and learn with you, and I am very thankful for the relationships I gained.

I am excited for you to learn more about Lee and the amazing opportunities that you could experience here!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with minors in both Business Administration and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in July 2019. While I was a student at Lee, I was a Student Ambassador for the Admissions Office, as well as a student worker for the Global Perspectives Office and the Communication Arts Department. I was also a member of the social service Greek club ‘Delta Zeta Tau’. Upon graduation, I participated in the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida. I am thrilled to be back at Lee and helping serve incoming students as they begin their own Lee journey!

My time at Lee was one of the most transformational times of my life. Lee allowed me to be stretched and challenged academically and relationally. Hello! My name is Jonny Molina and I am the Admissions Counselor for Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Florida, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Puerto Rico. It’s so awesome you’re interested in coming to Lee University! Throughout your college search process, I would love to help you with any and all things related to Lee and admissions!

I am originally from McKinney, Texas, but lived in Frederick, Maryland for the majority of my life. I came to Lee in the fall of 2016 and graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications with an advertising emphasis. For me, coming to Lee was an easy decision. My older siblings attended Lee and there was something about Lee that naturally felt like home. Lee became the place I needed in my life to not only succeed academically, but also to strive spiritually. It also opened doors for so many incredible opportunities.

As student, I had the honor of being a member of the Evangelistic Singers. The group gave me an opportunity to play on many different stages throughout the U.S. and even in the Dominican Republic. Those experiences allowed me to develop my faith with God and go deeper with Him. I was also involved in some of the chapel bands and ministered with a lot of amazing people I now call friends.

I can say with confidence that Lee gave me so much more than what I deserved and expected. It gave me life-long friendships, unforgettable moments, and most importantly, a chance for a deeper relationship with God. I am beyond thankful to call Lee my home away from home. I am excited to see where your Lee journey will take you! If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me.
