Lee University’s Writing Center exists to help you improve as a writer. Our trained writing tutors accomplish this goal through collaboration and conversation, not through editing or “correcting” your papers for you. By working with you on your writing—by responding as readers to the drafts you’ve written or by asking questions about ideas you might have—our tutors aim to help you develop the ways of thinking and reading that can lead to effective writing. Our tutors are trained to work with a diverse population and thus welcome native and non-native English speakers, as well as students from any major or discipline on campus.
