Employee Profile

Dr. Mike Iosia joined the Lee's faculty in the fall of 2007 and currently serves as professor of exercise science and chair of the Department of Health, Exercise Science and Secondary Education. Iosia came to Lee from Baylor University where he had been a post-doctoral fellow in the Exercise Sport Nutrition Laboratory and also taught graduate and undergraduate courses. Prior to pursuing his PhD, Iosia spent nine years as a strength and conditioning coach at the NCAA Division IA level. While earning his doctorate in exercise physiology from the University of Alabama, he interned at the university’s strength and conditioning apartment.
