Dr. Joel Kailing has been a member of Lee's faculty since 1994. Among the courses he teaches are Media Law, Research Methods, and a religion capstone, Christianity and Media. Kailing began his career as a pastor and missionary, focused initially on intercultural communication. He has since expanded his interests into the effects of media and new communication technologies and the way narrative relates to faith and the communication of the gospel.
