Dr. Chery Brendel joined Lee’s School of Music as full-time faculty in 2020, after serving as adjunct faculty since 2005. She also served as an adjunct voice faculty for Carson-Newman, Georgia State, Arcadia, and Evangel University. While working at Southeastern University, she developed a new opera program, created and coordinated a university-sponsored community concert series, and developed curriculum for a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in music and a Bachelor of Music (BM) in performance. She currently teaches applied voice courses at Lee.
