 On Thursday, Feb. 7, Dr. Michael Zuckert of University of Notre Dame addressed a room full of students at Lee during an event hosted by the university’s Department of History, Political Science, and Humanities. During the lecture, Zuckert addressed the pervading influence of John Locke on the American founding. This lecture was presented in conjunction with the Charles Koch Foundation, whose goal in supporting colleges and universities is twofold – it hopes to promote a better understanding of the link between free societies and prosperity and to provide additional resources to expand students’ educational opportunities and career development.
