Wind Ensemble to Perform Tuesday

News

The Lee University Wind Ensemble will conclude the fall semester with a concert on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.

The concert will feature the 55-member instrumental ensemble under the baton of conductor David Holsinger, professor of music at Lee, and associate conductor Winona Holsinger, director of instrumental projects. Timothy Linley and Seok Joon Keun, two new graduate wind conducting majors, will also be conducting during the concert.

The program will feature a variety of compositions, including music by Rossano Galante, Steven Bryant, Charles Ives, Dimitri Shostakovich, and David Maslanka as well as two American marches by Karl King and John Philip Sousa.

The concert will also serve as a time to say farewell to four seniors who will be student-teaching in the spring semester.

The concert is a free non-ticketed event, and everyone is invited to attend.
