Lee University will welcome Rich Wilkerson, Jr., back to the Conn
Center stage on Thursday, Jan. 29 for a chapel service at 10:40 a.m.

A graduate of Lee, Wilkerson is an international Christian speaker and an associate pastor at Trinity Church in Miami, Florida, where his father is the senior pastor. He leads a weekly youth group called Rendezvous with his wife, DawnChere, which began with 60 young adults and has grown to 1,300. While at Lee, he served as president of Upsilon Xi, a men’s social/service organization.

Wilkerson is known worldwide for his passion to encourage and inspire this generation to live for Christ. His honest and upfront approach brings a fresh viewpoint and clarity to life’s issues.

“Rich is a wonderful communicator,” said Dr. Jimmy Harper, Lee campus pastor. “We always enjoy having him return to campus to speak to our students.”

Many know Wilkerson as the pastor who performed the ceremony for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding in 2014. The celebrities had been attending his church for about two years prior to asking him to officiate.

Lee University Conn Center is located on the corner of Parker and 11th Street in Cleveland. Chapel is designed for student worship, but the community is always welcome to attend.
