U-Church to Present “An Evening of Worship” Sunday
Lee University will host “An Evening of Worship” as part of its U-Church series, led by LeeU Worship, on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.
“An Evening of Worship” is an event of corporate worship put on by students, for students. It is centered around several different types of worship and communion.
The theme for the evening is based on Psalm 91:1-4, which reminds us of dwelling in the rest we find in God’s presence.
LeeU Worship is a collective of student songwriters, worship leaders, and musicians who have a heart to lead their peers on the Lee University campus through meaningful worship encounters. The ensemble released an album in 2017 of 10 original songs ranging in style from the typical up tempo layered electronic sound, powerful ballads, and a modern hymn based on the New Testament text the early church sang.
U-Church is a free, non-ticketed event which is open to students, alumni, and the community. Seating is first come, first served.
