U-Church to Host “An Evening of Worship”

News

The Lee University U-Church series will continue this month with “An Evening of Worship” on Sunday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.

This student-led service is designed to bring attention and focus on a time of worship and communion for all who attend.

“While this is planned and programmed by and for Lee students, we welcome anyone from the community that would like to join us in this time of worship through music and sharing of the Lord’s Supper,” said U-Church Director Josh York.

The theme of the evening is personal revival. This theme is based upon Isaiah 57:15, “For this is what the high and exalted One says—He who lives forever, whose name is holy: ‘I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.’”

Seating for U-Church events is first come, first serve. Free childcare is available for all who attend.

The service is a free, non-ticketed event, and the community is welcome to attend. The doors will open at 7 p.m.
