An evening of worship

Lee University’s U-Church will host “Come to the Table: An Evening of Worship,” led by LeeU Worship, on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.

The service’s theme is “Living Hope,” which is based on the Scripture 1 Peter 1:3-12. The student-led worship service will include student testimony and a time of communion.

“Evening of Worship is a night that I always look forward to during the semester,” said Grace Newland, a member of LeeU Worship. “This event gives students, professors, and the community a special chance to worship together, and we encourage everyone to come and join us.”

LeeU Worship is a collective of student songwriters, worship leaders, and musicians who have a heart to lead their peers on the Lee University campus through meaningful worship encounters.

The ensemble released an album in 2017 of 10 original songs, ranging in style from a conventional up-tempo layered electronic sound to powerful ballads and a modern hymn based on New Testament text sung by the Early Church.

“Come to the Table” is a free, non-ticketed event, open to students, alumni, and the community. Seating is first come, first served.
