Twelve Lee Day Guests Win Scholarships

Lee Day Scholarship Winners with Admissions Team

To conclude Lee Day festivities, the university presented 12 students with scholarships. Brynn Depinet from Bowling Green, Ohio, received a $5000 scholarship. Rachel Malloy from Canton, Georgia; Caroline Stone from Shelbyville, Tennessee; and Jason Underwood from Beale Air Force Base, California, received a meal plan for 21 meals per week, valued at $4120. Tiffany Baker from Knoxville, Tennessee; Jaron Dangler from Dunlap, Tennessee; Emma McCullough from Smyrna, Tennessee; Leah Minter from Chatsworth, Georgia; Aidan Teresi from Canton, Georgia; and John Waters from Ooltewah, Tennessee, each received a $3000 scholarship. Transfer students Aubrianna Brown of Newport, Tennessee, and Diana Velizaroff of Key Largo, Florida, also received $3000 scholarships. Lee Day is an annual weekend event geared toward prospective students and their families. During the event, visitors have the opportunity to participate in over 40 different activities, offering a glimpse into the unique mixture of clubs, people, cultures, and opportunities that the university comprises.
