Alumni, News

As part of the Lee University Homecoming activities, the School of Music will present its annual Music Festival on Saturday, Nov. 7 in the Conn Center at 7 p.m.

This year’s festival program will include the student ensembles Campus Choir, Chamber Strings, Evangelistic Singers, Jazz Band, Lee Singers, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Voices of Lee.

Ladies of Lee will also perform as a part of the ensemble’s 50th anniversary. Former choir members and directors will join the current ensemble for an exciting celebration of 50 years of ministry.

“We are looking forward to celebrating 50 years of music and ministry with the Ladies of Lee,” said Dr. Jonathan Rodgers, assistant professor of choral music. “It is a very exciting time for Ladies of Lee as we look back to see all that God has done in this 50 year legacy, yet we are also excited to chart the course for the next 50 years.”

Tickets for the Music Festival are $10 for adults and $5 for students. They can be ordered through the Alumni Relations office on their website or by calling (423) 614-8240. They can also be purchased in the Conn Center the night of the event.
