Angie Rose

Lee University will host a free concert with multi-genre Christian artist Angie Rose on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Dixon Center.

Sponsored by Lee’s Office of Racial and Ethnic Relations, the Leetinos, and the Mosaic Council, along with Church of God Men and Women of Action, this event is free, non-ticketed, and open to the public.

Rose’s message of inspiration is consistent, while her sound is diverse. Drawing from her Puerto Rican roots and residing in the Bronx, she inspires her fans “to be unstoppable through a combination of raw energy and undaunted lyrics.”

Her music promotes diversity and overcoming all obstacles, pulling from traumatic experiences from her past, such as loss, drugs, and alcohol abuse. Through this, she inspires others to find healing in Jesus and to never give up hope.

Rose was nominated in the 2022 Dove Awards in the Christian Hip-Hop category for her album “Unstoppable (United We Can)” and has over 19 million global streams.
