The dedication ceremony for Lee University’s New Hughes Hall commenced after chapel services Thursday, Sept. 8. The new dormitory, built in place of the former Hughes Hall, will continue the rich tradition of residential community life Hughes Hall has enjoyed dating back to 1966. The men’s residence hall is named for Ray H. Hughes, Sr., former President of Lee College and General Overseer of the Church of God. Lee President Paul Conn and Mrs. Linda Hughes, cutting the ribbon in the memory of her late husband.
