Mura Crowned Miss Parade of Favorites

Rebekah Mura, a senior communications major representing Lee’s Admissions Office, was named Lee University’s Miss Parade of Favorites 2016 on Saturday, Nov. 12.
First runner up was awarded to Indyasia Johnson, who represented the Student Leadership Council and was escorted by Nik Piantieri. She was the recipient of the interview award.
Kelsey French, who was escorted by Landon Moss and represented Crossover Ministries, was the second runner up. She also won the service award.
Rachel Proctor, representing Upsilon Xi, was the third runner up. Her escort was Jacob Broome. She was awarded the Kay McDaniel Woman of Achievement Award.
Representing Delta Zeta Tau, Anna Beth Potter was the fourth runner up. Clay Butler was her escort.
Brooklyn Holbrook, representing Tau Kappa Omega, was the recipient of the congeniality and talent award. She sang “Try A Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding.
Tanner Smith, escort of Miss Parade of Favorites 2016 Rebekah Mura, was named winner of the escort award.
Parade of Favorites is an annual, student-led, talent showcase at Lee University. Various campus clubs and organizations select representatives to compete on the club’s behalf. This year’s theme was “Cirque Du SoLEE.” Sydney Wojewoda, public relations major at Lee, directed the event.
