The Modigliani Quartet, one of today’s most sought-after quartets, will conclude the 30th Anniversary Lee University Presidential Concert Series. The performance will take place on Thursday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Squires Recital Hall.

In addition to annual tours in the United States and Asia, the quartet has performed across Europe at venues including Wigmore Hall, the Paris Philharmonie, the Théâtre des Champs- Elysées, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Saint-Petersburg Philharmonia, and the Elbphil-harmonie in Hamburg.

Pieces such as Puccini’s “Crisantemi,” Beethoven’s “String Quartet in D Major,” and Smetana’s “String Quartet No. 1 (From my Life)” will be performed at the Thursday evening concert.

The Modigliani Quartet has won multiple awards throughout its career, including three First Prizes successively at the Eindhoven International Competition and the esteemed Young Concert Artists Auditions in New York.
