MBA Program, Open House this Month

News

Lee University’s Department of Business will host an open house for its MBA program on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Science and Math Complex Lecture Hall, room 255.

“We are excited to showcase our MBA,” said Dr. Shane Griffith, associate professor of business and director of the program. “This open house is a terrific opportunity for prospective students to learn more about our program, meet professors and current students, and observe an actual MBA class.”

Lee’s MBA equips individuals with a faith-based approach to senior-level leadership in industry, government, and non-profit organizations. A focus on experiential learning ensures that students apply theory to actual business problems beginning in the first course.

Students complete two courses each fall, spring, and summer semester, and should complete the degree requirement of 36 credit hours within 24 months. No specific undergraduate major is necessary for admission.

The business department, chaired by Dr. Dewayne Thompson, received the coveted national accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs in summer of 2008.

All individuals interested in the MBA program are welcome to attend the open house. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
