Lee University Hosts Homecoming 5K Run
Lee University will host the seventh annual 5K Run on Saturday,
Nov. 3, as part of its annual Homecoming celebration.
“The 5K is a highly anticipated event that includes alumni and
students, along with the community,” said Director of Community
Relations Ellie Pfahl.
The 5K is the certified 65 Roses course, though no chip timing
will be available. Free race shirts will be given to runners while
supply lasts, and prizes will be awarded.
This year’s race will highlight Girls on the Run, a program for
preteen girls aimed at unleashing confidence through accomplishment
while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and
fitness.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. in front of the Paul Conn Student
Union, with the run starting at 8.

Cost is $15 per runner and will be collected at registration.
Entry is free for any student with a valid student ID.
