Lee to Host Annual “Classic Christmas” on Dec. 8
Lee University will hold the highly anticipated annual Classic Christmas on Sunday, Dec. 8. This festive concert for the entire family will take place at 3 p.m. in the Conn Center.
“Classic Christmas is a cherished tradition for our community and campus—a time to gather, celebrate, and share the beauty of music that brings warmth to our hearts and reminds us of the joy and hope this season brings,” said Jesse McConnell, director of music events at Lee. “We invite everyone to join us for an afternoon full of festive melodies and timeless carols!”
Guests are invited to hear and sing along to beloved Christmas songs, including “The First Noel,” “I Saw Three Ships,” and “Hallelujah Chorus,” among other holiday favorites.
Classic Christmas will feature several of Lee’s vocal and instrumental ensembles, including Lee University Orchestra, directed by Dr. Régulo Stabilito; Lee University Chorale, directed by Dr. William Green, School of Music dean; and Choral Union and Ladies of Lee, both directed by Cameron Weatherford.
The event will conclude with a candlelight performance of Silent Night.
Bank of Cleveland, the only locally owned and operated bank in Cleveland/Bradley County, joins Lee in sponsoring this year’s Classic Christmas for the sixth year.
