Lee Day Live to Begin April 9

Events, Lee Day, News

On Friday and Saturday, April 9-10, Lee University will welcome students and their families to Lee Day Live, a virtual look into life at Lee with multiple events for applicants, prospective students, and parents.

Lee Day Live participants will be able to tour the Lee campus, learn what it means to be a Lee student, explore majors and academic programs, meet other future and current Lee students, Zoom with faculty and staff, and qualify for a scholarship.

“For many years, Lee Day has been the most successful recruitment event on the university’s calendar,” said Phil Cook, vice president for enrollment. “This year, Lee Day will once again be a virtual experience providing an opportunity for prospective students and their families to experience online why Lee continues to be one of the leading Christ-centered liberal arts universities in the country.”

According to Cook, this year’s Lee Day Live experience will feature “an old-fashioned game board experience,” allowing guests to “move around the board” and participate, virtually, in information sessions, campus tours, class selection, scholarship drawings, and other surprises along the journey.

“We are thrilled to offer Lee Day Live 2021,” says Danny Murray, chair of the Lee Day Steering Committee. “This is such a great way to experience our campus virtually with opportunities to interact with faculty, staff, and students!”

All events are free for registered Lee Day guests and can be completed at the participant’s own pace.
