Students who love to sing and meet new friends from around the community should not miss the opportunity to join the Lee University Children’s Chorale. Registration and auditions will be held Monday, Jan. 14 and Monday, Jan. 28 from 5 to 5:30 p.m. in the Humanities Building, Room 111. No appointment is necessary to audition.

Lee University Children’s Chorale is a community choir, established in 1996 to provide supplemental singing experiences for children, grades 4–6.

Focusing on vocal development, musical training, and performance, the enrichment program is directed by Joy Gibbons.

“The greatest reward of my many years in music education is the privilege of encouraging hundreds of students to love music for a lifetime,” said Gibbons.

Gibbons asks that students be prepared to sing a familiar song of their choice at the auditions.

Tuition for the semester is $100 per student.
