Ladies of Lee to Present “Green Pastures”
Ladies of Lee, under the direction of Dr. Cameron Weatherford, will perform its spring concert “Green Pastures” on Tuesday, March 21. The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Pangle Hall, located at 340 Church Street.
The concert will journey through several biblical psalms and feature music by Z. Randall Stroope, Andrea Ramsey, and Jeffrey Ames, among others.
“It has been a refreshing and enlightening experience to study the Psalms and then sing them,” says Weatherford. “We look forward to presenting what we have studied in God’s word and prepared musically for our audience.”
The Ladies of Lee consists of 39 women from a variety of undergraduate programs. Along with conducting Ladies of Lee, Weatherford also conducts Choral Union and teaches graduate and undergraduate classes in choral music and conducting.
This Tuesday evening concert is free, non-ticketed, and open to the public. Livestream viewing will also be available at leeu.live/.
