Kim Crowned Miss Parade of Favorites

Ariana Kim was named Lee University’s Miss Parade of Favorites 2014 on Saturday, Nov. 1. She represented Omega Alpha Phi and was escorted by Jeremy Tice.

First runner up was awarded to Bekah Wright, the representative for Sigma Nu Sigma. Her escort was Ben Scott.

Second runner up was Marisa Goodman, escorted by Eric Schaufert. She was the representative for Zeta Chi Lambda. Goodman also received the interview award.

Sofia Mino, representing the Leetinos and escorted by Jean Paul Zabala, was the third runner up. Mino also received the talent award for her salsa dance and was named Miss Congeniality.

Olayinka Adedayo, the representative for the World African Student Association, was awarded fourth runner up. Her escort was Andrew Haratine.

Goodman was selected for the Kay McDaniel Woman of Achievement Award, given to the contestant headed on a path of success despite life’s obstacles.

John Piantieri, the escort of Student Leadership Council representative Alyse DeVos, was presented the escort award.

This year’s theme was “Guys in Ties and Girls in Pearls.”

Chelsea Miller served as the event director and Megan Ash was the assistant director. The dance performances were choreographed by James Vassell.
