John Mark McMillan is Next U-Church Guest at Lee

Lee University will host singer song-writer John Mark McMillan
on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.
McMillan is a three-time GMA Dove Award nominee for “New Artist
of the Year,” “Worship Song of the Year,” and “Rock/Contemporary
Album of the Year.”
He is best known for his song, “How He Loves,” which has spent
the last 14 months on CCLI’s Top 25 chart and was marked by
Integrity Music as one of the 25 most influential worship songs in
the past 25 years. “How He Loves” has been covered by David Crowder
Band, Kim Walker of Jesus Culture, Todd Agnew, Flyleaf and several
others.
McMillan is hailed for his concise, poetic and often “raw”
lyrics.
Relevant Magazine calls McMillan, with his “cracking voice and
soaring, fuzzed-out amplification – a true worship pioneer.”
Music from McMillan’s album, “The Song Inside the Sounds of
Breaking Down,” will be featured on the “Economy Class Fall Tour,”
which began Sept. 10.
The tour will also feature songs from McMillan’s widely
acclaimed album, “Economy,” which became a Top 20 iTunes® overall
“LP” hit and was used by ABC Network for its Grey’s Anatomy
promotions. McMillan’s “Seen A Darkness” was also featured on the
30-second promo for the show’s episode, “Hope for the
Hopeless.”
