Lee University’s Dr. Steven Hall recently presented at the Strategic Leadership conference held in Barbados (Caribbean) on behalf of the Lee University School of Theology & Ministry.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Lee University and the School of Theology and Ministry as the ministry academy to export high quality ministry content to those serving in the field of ministry,” said Hall.

The conference, which focused on the preservation of the soul health of Christian ministers, was a partnership between Dr. Kenroy Burke, the Southern Caribbean Territory Director for Church of God World Missions (COGWM); Dr. Ishmael Charles, the COGWM supervisor and Lee alum; and Lee’s School of Theology & Ministry.

The leadership conference opened on Friday, Oct.13, with a session on biblical foundation and continued on Oct. 14 for a training workshop conducted by Hall on soul health. Hall’s presentation explored the anatomy of the soul, the uniqueness and dangers of ministry, and provided a customized soul health plan for participants. One hundred seventy-five people from the southern Caribbean region attended the conference.

Hall is an associate professor of pastoral ministry specializing in pastoral counseling, spiritual formation and soul care, and pastoral ministry. He and his wife also serve as the executive directors of Ministry Oasis, an organization dedicated to providing resources for minsters and their spouses on soul health.
