The Lee University Center for English Language and Literacy (CELL) will host the ESL (English as a Second Language) camp for rising 1st-6th graders from July 13-17 in the Walker Memorial Building.

“The camp will help children develop essential English academic skills in a fun and creative learning environment,” said Dr. Chris Blake, camp director and professor of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

COVID-19 precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of the campers, including temperature checks, physical distancing, and the use of face masks by camp teachers when teaching within six feet of the campers. Facemasks will also be provided for campers, though they are not required.

The camp is offered free of charge and will include lunch, snacks, and supplies. Due to space limitations, early online registration is encouraged.

Lee’s Walker Memorial Building is on the corner of 11th and Ocoee Streets.
