Echols Presents at ABC Conference
Lee University’s Dr. Evaline Echols recently presented at the 80th International Conference of the Association of Business Communications in Seattle, Washington.
Echols’ presentation, “Generational Communication in the Workplace,” focused on how to bridge the communication gap between the four generations represented in the work force today.

Echols has served Lee University since 1957 and was recently honored for her long service to the university. After working in the president’s office for 27 years, she then served as chair of the Business Department for 20 years. She is currently a professor of business administration and teaches courses including Business Communications, Communication and Leadership in Organizations, and Managerial Communication.
Outside of Lee, Echols is a frequent speaker at seminars and professional meetings. She is a contributing writer for two Pathway Press devotional books, “Sitting at His Feet” and “Basketful of Blessings.” Pathway Press also published two of her own books, “Climb Up Through Your Valleys” and “Mount Up With Wings.”
Originally from Jacksonville, Alabama, Echols has two children, Eddie and Sharon, eight grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
