Lee University’s Division of Adult Learning (DAL) has been ranked in the top 100 of U.S. News and World Report’s Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.

The January ranking included over 283 colleges and universities of all sizes, nationwide. The programs were each given a score in categories including faculty credentials, student services and technology, and student engagement. Lee ranked 97 on the list.

“Lee University has a long tradition of being Christ-centered and student-centered,” said Dr. Joshua Black, executive director of Lee’s DAL. “The university is proud to integrate that same nationally-recognized excellence into the online classroom experience for adult students.”

The DAL offers a non-traditional approach toward an affordable, accessible, and achievable degree program. Online degree programs include the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Bible and Theology, Ministry Leadership (6 emphasis areas), Christian Studies, and Liberal Studies, plus a Master of Arts in Ministry Studies (3 emphasis areas).

U.S. News evaluated nearly 1,000 online programs to develop rankings for online bachelor’s degrees as well as various categories of online graduate degree programs. The rankings for 2013 can be found at www.usnews.com/education/online-education.
