Choral Union to Present Fall Concert

News

Lee University’s Choral Union will present its fall concert,
Lux Aeterna: Songs of Dreams and Light, under the
direction of Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Cameron LaBarr on
Sunday, Oct 28, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

The concert will feature Morten Lauridsen’s Lux
Aeterna
, the opening 2 movements of Mozart’s Requiem,
and other works by Susan LaBarr, Moses Hogan, and Mark A.
Miller, all dealing with concepts of dreams and light. Mary
Beth Wickes will accompany the choir on the piano and organ.

Choral Union performs standard choral music and major works for
mixed chorus and orchestra. This ensemble is a unique blend of Lee
University music majors and non-music majors and is open to all who
are interested in choral music.

Tickets are available Oct. 22-26 at the Dixon Center Box Office
from 3-6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and
students. Seating is limited.
