Annual Christmas Tree Lighting to Take Place Nov. 14

Lee University’s annual Christmas tree lighting will take place on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m., featuring live music, cookie decorating, a hot cocoa bar, and other festivities. The event will be held in front of Lee’s Science and Math Complex, located at the corner of Ocoee Street and Billy Graham Avenue.
“Every year, this event brings so much excitement to campus,” said Kevin Hudson, director of campus recreation and student events. “From live music to cookie decorating to the big tree-lighting moment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
This year’s program will include performances by the Lee University Men’s Choir and Maya Nobles and the Lee University Jazz Band, along with a special guest from the North Pole and his friend known as the Chattanooga Elf (Buddy).
Attendees can also drop off Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes at a designated location on site.
This event is free and open to the public. Guests may park in any of the surrounding lots.
