All Sons & Daughters to Conclude Spring U-Church Series

News

Christian artist All Sons & Daughters will conclude Lee University’s spring U-Church series on Sunday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.

All Sons & Daughters consists of Leslie Jordan and David Leonard. The duo currently serve as worship leaders at Journey Church in Franklin, Tenn., and have recorded three EPs, “Brokenness Aside,” “Reason To Sing,” and “The Longing,” along with their first full-length album, “Season One.”

“We always begin [worship] by saying ‘This is a place of freedom,” Jordan says of their approach to every Sunday morning service and every concert. “We want people to feel complete freedom to worship as they feel called to because Scripture says, ‘What we bring to the Lord is enough for Him.’ And we trust that the Spirit lives in that freedom.”

According to Leonard, he and Jordan encourage listeners to open up and approach God in a more transparent and honest setting. All Sons & Daughters is scheduled to tour with Crowder and Capital Kings later this year.

U-Church is a free, non-ticketed event for students, alumni and the community. Seating is first-come, first-serve, and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

“Having All Sons & Daughters on campus is an a opportunity that we have been seeking for a while,” said Josh York, director of U-Church. “I am so pleased they are able to join us this month to wrap up this season of U-Church concerts, and I look forward to the worship experiences we will all share.”
