The Annual Fund (AF) Coordinator will oversee the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship efforts for all annual giving to the university. The AF Coordinator will be expected to lead the strategy and implementation of AF communication and appeals while assisting the University Relations team in hosting alumni and donor events. The AF Coordinator is a full-time administrative position reporting to the Director of Alumni and Donor Relations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Building Relationships and Growing Annual Fund Giving
- Organize and manage all aspects and segments of annual giving including: phone calls, direct mail, give day, campaigns, online giving, email, and personal visits.
- Manage annual stewardship communication with AF donors and oversee distribution of AF gifts and recognition.
- Maintain accurate donor records within the CRM system, tracking giving history, contact information, and activities.
- Oversee the Young Alumni Society and grow young alumni giving through specific events and appeals geared towards recent graduates.
- Assist with the development of the AF Impact Report.
- Assist the Alumni and Donor Relations team in planning and executing alumni and donor events.
Collaboration and Character
- Participate regularly and broadly in University Relations and university events.
- Serve as a Lee University ambassador with a high level of integrity, authenticity, and confidentiality.
- Maintain a positive image when dealing with constituents and the University community, demonstrating a lifestyle consistent with the Christ-centered values of Lee University.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous experience in sales or fundraising preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is 12-month full-time, non-remote position working in an office environment. The candidate must be capable of traveling up to 20% of the time, with a flexible work schedule involving evening and weekend work as needed, for alumni and university related events.
