Mexico Education

Mexico
This trip has been cancelled for the 2023 year. Please contact Dr. Kimberly Moffett if you would be interested in attending in future year. Become deeply embedded in the Hispanic culture on the Mexico Education trip. Every day is spent interacting with friends within the church and various schools and pueblos. Activities include working with children and individuals with disabilities, interacting with children in inner-city Zamora, partying with children in the indigenous Indian village Huancito, and worshipping with our friends of Cristo Centro Zamora, before returning for a few days of interaction in the historic district of Guadalajara. You will encounter rural poverty, inner-city poverty, middle-income, and upper-income socio-economic status. This long-established trip offers insights into the culture which continually leaves lasting impacts on the participants who attend.
