Our Mission

The Office of Racial and Ethnic Relations was formed to help racially, ethnically, and internationally diverse students, employees, and alumni know they are valued members of the Lee University community.

We base our mission on the Scriptural principles that:

  • Each human being is created in God’s image.
  • The kingdom of God includes and values people from diverse backgrounds.
  • God calls for the just treatment of all people.

This office seeks to intentionally prepare all students for responsible Christian living in a complex world while advocating for, empowering, and supporting those from racially, ethnically, and internationally diverse backgrounds.
