We are Lee Nursing

As part of your next steps to joining Lee Nursing, you have the opportunity to reserve your seat in Nursing 101 through our We are Lee Nursing process. All students entering the nursing program at Lee must reserve their seat in Nursing 101 through this process (including all new freshmen, transfer students, and current Lee students who are changing their major).

Completing the We are Lee Nursing process should take about an hour.

Please read the following carefully:

  • Seats in Nursing 101 are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served (and subject to academic approval*) We encourage you not to delay.
  • Reserving your seat does not grant acceptance into the nursing program. (Nursing admission is discussed in the We are Lee Nursing video series)
  • Nursing 101 is a required prerequisite for students who wish to continue in the nursing program.
  • If you reserve a seat and later decide to pursue a different major, we ask that you notify us so we can offer that seat to another student.
  • For transfer students and students already at Lee changing their major: If you have not already submitted a Nursing Transfer Application, please complete this application as well. Acceptance through this application is required to enter the nursing program officially (deadline June 1, 2026).

The We are Lee Nursing video series will introduce you to our heart, our processes, and our expectations. You will hear from our leadership, faculty, staff, and students as we introduce you to who we are at Lee Nursing and how you may fit in here.

NOTE: Due to recent changes on Vimeo, if you are watching the videos on your phone and try to pause the video, it may force you to restart the video (or create an account).

If you are ready to commit to Lee Nursing and reserve your spot in Nursing 101, please click the Commit Now button and answer a couple of questions. After the questions, you will have your chance to show your commitment.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Tom Shiflet at [email protected].
* Enrollment in Nursing 101 is limited to students who are approved for a 3 or 4 year plan of study. Some students may need to take additional skill-building courses to prepare for a 4 year plan (based on test scores used in other departments for course placement). Contact our academic advisor, Kara Dillard, for more information: [email protected]. If students complete this commitment form now and end up on a 5 year plan, their reservation will automatically be moved to the appropriate academic year for Nursing 101.
